Signing In & MFA

How to sign in

Open your FlowQi login page and sign in with one of these methods:

  • Email and password — enter your email address and password, then click Sign In.
  • Google — click the Google button and continue with your Google account.
  • Microsoft — click the Microsoft button and continue with your Microsoft account.

Before you can submit the login form, FlowQi runs a quick automated human-verification check (Cloudflare Turnstile) in the background. If it hasn’t completed yet, the Sign In button stays disabled for a moment.

FieldNotes
EmailYour account email address
PasswordAt least 8 characters

If your details are correct, you land on your dashboard.

On the login screen you’ll also find Forgot Password?, a link to sign up for a new account, and a link to the Help Center.

Forgot your password?

  1. On the login screen, click Forgot Password?.
  2. Enter your email address and click Send Reset Link.
  3. If that email exists in FlowQi, you’ll receive an email with a reset link.
  4. Open the link and set a new password (see below).

For security, FlowQi always shows the same confirmation — “If this email exists in our system, a reset link has been sent” — whether or not the address is registered.

Setting a new password

When you open the reset link, you reach the Reset your password screen. Enter your new password twice (New Password and Confirm Password).

Your password must meet all of these requirements:

RequirementRule
LengthAt least 8 characters
LowercaseAt least one lowercase letter
UppercaseAt least one uppercase letter
DigitAt least one number
SymbolAt least one special character

Click Reset Password to save. You’re then signed in and taken to your dashboard.

Your new password must be different from your current one. FlowQi also blocks passwords that appear in known leaked-password lists — if that happens, choose a different, unique password.

If your reset link has expired, you’ll see a notice and a Back to login button. Just request a new link from Forgot Password?.

You can also reset your password from inside FlowQi. Open the avatar menu at the top right and choose Profile, go to the Security tab, and under Password click Reset Password“Reset your password via email link”. This sends the same reset email to your address.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

MFA adds an authenticator-app step to your login. After your email and password, FlowQi asks for a 6-digit code from an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or 1Password. Even if someone learns your password, they can’t sign in without your phone.

You manage MFA from your profile: open the avatar menu at the top right, choose Profile, and open the Security tab. Under Multi-factor authentication (MFA)“Add an authenticator app challenge to your account login flow” — you’ll find an Off / On toggle and a Set up MFA button.

Turning MFA on

  1. Open the avatar menu (top right), choose Profile, and open the Security tab.
  2. Under Multi-factor authentication (MFA), click Set up MFA (or switch the toggle to On).
  3. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app. Can’t scan? Use the manual setup key shown below the code.
  4. Enter the current 6-digit code from your app and click Verify & Enable.

When setup succeeds, the status changes to Enabled.

Signing in with MFA

Once MFA is enabled, signing in adds one extra step: after your password, a dialog asks for the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app. Enter it and click Verify & Continue to reach your dashboard.

If you close the verification dialog without entering a valid code, you’re signed out and returned to the login screen.

Turning MFA off

  1. Open the avatar menu (top right) → ProfileSecurity tab.
  2. Under Multi-factor authentication (MFA), switch the toggle to Off (or click Manage MFA, then Disable MFA).

The status returns to Disabled.

For where MFA fits into your account as a whole, see Your Account & Workspace . To reach the dashboard you land on after signing in, see The Dashboard .

Lost access to your authenticator (MFA recovery)

If you no longer have your authenticator app, use MFA recovery to regain access. A workspace admin has to approve the request.

  1. On the MFA verification dialog, click Lost MFA? — or open the MFA recovery page directly.
  2. Enter your email address and click Send recovery email.
  3. Open the email and click Confirm recovery. You’ll see “Request confirmed” — an admin reviews it, usually within 24 hours.
  4. Once an admin approves it, you receive a second email with a Set up MFA link.
  5. Open that link and set up MFA again with your authenticator app.

A few things to know:

  • The recovery and re-enrollment links each expire after 24 hours. Request a new one if yours has expired.
  • You can only request recovery once every few minutes (a short cooldown prevents repeated emails).
  • As with password resets, FlowQi shows the same neutral confirmation whether or not the email is registered.

Approving MFA recovery (admins)

If you have the right to manage users in your workspace, you can review and approve recovery requests from teammates. Approving a request switches off the user’s old MFA factor and sends them a re-enroll link so they can set MFA up again.

Approving MFA recovery requires the update users permission (for all users or your team). If you don’t have it, ask another admin to approve the request.
