Members & access
Who can see a circle
Membership controls visibility:
You might ask about who has access, inviting people, or sharing a workspace — in FlowQi that is circle members.
- The Main Circle is public — shared with everyone in your organization.
- A circle you create is only visible to its members. People who aren’t members don’t see its projects, contacts, or organizations.
Members and roles
Open a circle’s settings and go to the Members section to add or remove people. Member changes are saved separately from the circle’s general settings.
Each member has a role that controls what they can do in the circle:
| Role | What it means |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full control of the circle and its settings |
| Member | Works in the circle (projects, contacts, organizations) |
| Viewer | Read-only access |
| Guest | Restricted access — for external collaborators or clients |
Placing records in the right circle
By default, a contact or organization you create goes into the shared Main Circle. When you create one, the “Add to a specific circle” option lets you place it in a single circle instead — useful when the data should stay within one team or client.
A contact and the organization you link it to must live in the same circle, so cross-circle data never gets mixed up.
