What's Next
FlowQi is one connected platform for running client work — CRM, projects, time & resources and invoicing, all sharing the same data. We ship constantly, and this page is the honest picture of where we are and where we’re going. The order reflects what unlocks the most value first; it’s a direction we’re committed to, not a set of dated promises.
How to read this: under each area you’ll find what recently shipped and what’s coming next. The final section — FlowQi + AI — is the bigger horizon we’re building toward in deliberate steps.
Workspaces (Circles)
Circles are FlowQi’s workspaces — they keep teams, clients and projects cleanly separated while everything still lives in one platform. This has been one of our biggest investments.
Recently shipped
- Create, theme and organize circles, with a redesigned workspace switcher in the sidebar and favourite circles you can star.
- Every contact, organization, project and task is scoped to a circle — pickers and lists filter to the workspace you’re in.
- Move a project from one circle to another, with its members and tasks handled safely.
- Circle settings as a proper module (general settings + members), with owner-only controls.
Coming next
- An “All Circles” option for cross-workspace visibility when you want it.
- More granular control over what’s shared vs. kept private per workspace.
CRM — contacts & organizations
Your client layer: people, companies and the relationships between them.
Recently shipped
- Rich contact and organization records — logos, countries, industries, addresses, descriptions — with fields kept optional so you can add a record in seconds and fill in detail later.
- Link a contact to multiple organizations, and see related contacts, projects and tasks right on the record.
- Sort, search and filter across every CRM list, with a full audit trail of who changed what.
- Recycle bin for CRM: archive, restore and permanently delete contacts and organizations.
Coming next
- Notes, reimagined — multiple attributed notes per record (author + timestamp, newest first) instead of one free-text field.
- A smoother combined “create organization + contact in one step” flow, with clearer validation before you save.
- A country-aware Tax / VAT ID field, and tidier, symmetric list columns across organizations and contacts.
Sales — pipeline & deals
From first conversation to signed work, in the same system as the client, the project and the invoice.
Coming next — this is the next area we build.
- A sales pipeline with deals and deal tracking, connected to the contacts and organizations you already have.
- A won deal becomes the project, so nothing is typed twice between sales and delivery.
Projects & tasks
Where the work happens — boards, lists, calendars and the detail behind every task.
Recently shipped
- Projects, tasks and subtasks across Board, List, Calendar, Dashboard and Files views, with inline rename of tasks, projects and status columns.
- Custom status categories with colours, drag-to-reorder, tags, checklists, comments and tracked time per task.
- “My Tasks” and “Tasks I’ve assigned” views, plus a per-project dashboard with charts for status, priority, assignee and logged time.
- Link tasks to clients (organizations/contacts), and a full recycle bin — restored tasks land back in “To Do”.
Coming next
- A roomier, more reliable task detail panel and editable priority everywhere.
- Better files on tasks — a dedicated attachments section and support for PDF, Word, Excel and more (not just images).
- Calendar upgrades — drag-and-drop to reschedule, and a Monday week-start for EU teams.
- Safer destructive actions — a confirmation before completing a task auto-closes its open subtasks, and cleaner subtask drag-and-drop.
- Automation — recurring tasks, automatic reminders and follow-ups, and workflows you set up with triggers and actions.
Time & Resource Management
Plan capacity, track time, and protect your margins — the module that turns “are we still profitable on this client?” into a number you can trust.
Recently shipped
- Timesheets and a calendar view, simplified time entry (hours & minutes, with presets), and resource allocation.
- Resources with assigned services and skills, colour-coding and effective dates.
- Time Budgets with a budgets dashboard.
Coming next
- Retainer cycles — recurring budget periods for ongoing client work.
- Archiving and restoring resources, in line with the rest of the platform.
- Continued build-out of the resource-planning views.
Invoicing & finance
Turning work into revenue, in the same system.
Recently shipped
- Invoices and billable services, with single-invoice creation.
- Modular packages and subscriptions, billed through Stripe — buy the modules you need.
Coming next
- Deeper invoicing flows as the finance module matures, tied to the time and project data you already have.
- Sending invoices and payment reminders from FlowQi, online payment, and accounting integrations so invoices land in your bookkeeping.
- Sending email from FlowQi, and logging email against the client it belongs to.
Your day — dashboard & search
Recently shipped
- A personal dashboard: key metrics, My Tasks, My Projects, activity, and a Private Notepad with full editing.
- Workspace-wide search, a redesigned sidebar, breadcrumbs that follow you across circles, and a page top-loader.
Coming next
- Clickable stat cards that jump straight to filtered views, and a clearer custom date-range selector.
- More reliable global search and refined sidebar fly-outs.
- App-wide light-mode clarity and a dark-mode-ready logo.
Security & administration
Built for teams that take access seriously.
Recently shipped
- Multi-factor authentication — tenant-enforced, with a recovery flow — plus single sign-on (including Microsoft).
- Role-based permissions across CRM, projects and admin, with proper guest restrictions and feature flags per module.
- An admin console for inviting and managing users, resetting passwords, and archiving accounts — with safeguards so a workspace can never lose its last Super Admin.
- A unified settings experience with clear save/dirty states across profile, organization and project settings.
Coming next
- Faster, more consistent application of permissions immediately after a role change.
- Letting an existing user spin up a brand-new workspace from their account.
Your data, under your control
Recently shipped
- A unified trash → archive → restore → purge lifecycle across contacts, organizations, projects and tasks — nothing disappears by accident, and you can always get it back. Deletions record who removed what.
Coming next
- The same archive-and-restore safety net extended to every part of the platform, including resources.
On the horizon — FlowQi + AI
We’re opening FlowQi up as a platform, in deliberate, safety-first steps. This is where we’re headed — framed as direction, not dated commitments.
1. Secure API access. Workspace-managed API keys with fine-grained, scoped permissions, rate limiting and audit logging — so you can securely connect automations, scripts and external systems, not just the browser app. This is the foundation everything below builds on.
2. Connect FlowQi to the AI tools you already use. Through the open MCP standard, you’ll reach your FlowQi workspace from clients like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others — read your projects, log time, add comments — with scoped access and full audit logging. FlowQi becomes usable straight from the AI assistant you already work in, before we’ve built a single chat screen of our own.
3. Safe, approved actions. When AI does more than read, you stay in control: higher-impact changes are proposed, approved by you, run inside your permissions, and can be reversed.
4. A built-in assistant. The same foundation powers an assistant inside FlowQi that watches your projects, capacity and margins — and helps you act on them.
Bring your own storage. In parallel, we’re adding folder linking for Google Drive, OneDrive/SharePoint and Dropbox — your files stay where they live, surfaced live inside FlowQi, no duplication.
The thread through all of it: one connected system, built for agencies and service teams — not enterprise software made smaller, and priced for what you actually use.
Have a feature request? We build FlowQi with the teams who use it. Tell us what would make your day easier — it genuinely shapes what we work on next.
